My elderly mom’s van is always having battery issues because she leaves it for long periods without driving it. I use to cal AAA about 3-4 times per year. I had a charger very similar to this that I purchased six or seven years ago, but I decided to upgrade to this one. I actually drove 2 miles to the garage with no battery in the vehicle just the charger hooked up to the battery cables on the car. It made it no problem. I was really curious and wondering how far I could’ve gone on just the charger, but I didn’t push it. Fantastic product.

Very happy with this product, I actually have a very similar one that I purchased 6-7 years ago and upgraded to this one. I drove about 2 miles to the garage with no battery, running off the charger alone connected to the battery cables.
